Our family has been eating at El charros over 20 years, but our recent visit on Friday, Oct 2 was really bad. Salsa was worse than in a jar, so we asked for the green salsa, equally bad, the days of the piping hot Seafood enchilas with red sauce and cheese are gone, they were tastless tortillas with crabmeat inside, my taco salad had barely nothing in it and the meat had no flavor like it used to. I told my daughter about it and she said her inlaws were there last week and found the taste was gone to.

Great Salsa & Margaritas
The food is over priced. Its hard to find something I want to eat there. The chips and salsa are GREAT though. Service is poor I agree. We go because its the closet Mexican place to our house since Agave's closed in Sagamore HIlls. The bar area is pretty cool and comfy. I recommend stopping for drinks and chips for happy hour or a late night snack.

Love it!
I love el charros! Have been eating here since I was little and always have loved the food and the salsa is the best!!! Sometimes the service is not so speedy but the plus side is you have endless chips and salsa to tide you over. They did make some recent changes but my last experience there was still a good one! Good prices too!

I WOULDNT FEED MY DOG
I wouldn't feed my dog this food...had been here several years ago and food was tasty...revisited again recently and from start to finish it was one big disappointment. Margarita was warm and overly sweet, "nachos" were 8 soggy corn tortilla triangles covered with tasteless beans...second appetizer was just as sorry...didn't even bother to order entree..with several excellent mexican restaurants in the cleveland area, don't even bother with this one.
