canape starter, a wonderful beginning to a fabulous meal
Last week my friend and I had THE MOST AMAZING MEAL!!! it started with the foie gras on top of an apple tart. I can't get it out of my mind. Please, please, please, would you share with recipe of the apple tart with me? I won't give it out. I'm in the process of writing my 3rd cookbook, the second to benefit the Cleveland Orchestra, The Kitchen Conductor, and I'm a foodie. I've never eaten a better crust or filling. would you share?
Best,

Its located in the ghetto and the food was not good at all. I recived a steak that surpose one of the best it was awful sent it back.It was very cold inside.I did not like anything about the place its now worth your time or money. Very disappointed. I was looking for romantic not what I expected. They set in a room that look like someones bedroom. The parking was awful.

Breath Taking Salmon
On April 1, my wife and I celebrated her birthday. (No April Fool's Joke here.) She ordered the Onion Soup and Salmon. The salmon was delicious.
The waiter and I spoke about the beer selection. He brought a brew from Micro Brew from Medina. It was the perfect sipping beer for the evening.
Tonight, we will bring friends from Brunswick Hill for supper.
Our friend, Grant, loves salmon. I am certain that he will walk from the restaurant with a very large smile.
I large thank you to the owner. We had a wonderful conversation about microbrew beers.
I look forward to this evening's dinner.

Check out their Monday Night Specials
I've been going there for years, but recently discovered their Monday night special, which includes an appetizer, entree' and desert for $25.00. The choices are from their regular and daily special menus. My attorney/accountant who always go "grazing" after our papework is finished, truly enjoy this wonderful place. We were full for the next two days. We had their mussels and a muchroom tart app, along with the pork chop & rack of lamb. Finishing the "feast," we opted to share the chocolate lava cake and also the bread pudding cake. Did I say that we were full for two days! Definitely a must go-to place....and our server who lives ablove the restaurant was way too kind. Go and enjoy!

Great experience!
Went there today for lunch and was impressed by the variation on the menu. I opted for the mac n' cheese which was around $10. Before our meals came out we were served bread and an olive tapenade, a delicious starter. The presentation was great on all the dishes at the table (also a Salmon Cobb Salad and Omelet with home-made fries.) The mac and cheese was fantastic, loaded with grilled chicken and filled with great-tasting ingredients. The service was also great; not too intruding but very attentive. Dessert was the lemon lavender creme brulee, split between 3 was just right after the filling meal. Bill for 3 was around $40 and well worth the price!

Cat's won't get fat here
Went there recently and was disappointed with amount of food and the price. We ordered a shrimp appetizer that only included THREE shrimp. It was $8.95 what a rip. I had the Halibut which cost $20.00 It was a very small piece on top of a small bed of rice with no salad or potato. The food was very good but the portions and price ruined the meal. When I go to a restaurant I don't have to have large portions but...this place is ridiculous. Left hungry.

Me-ow!
One of the many perks of moving to Tremont is the fantastic local restaurant selection, with Fat Catz heading the list. Went for lunch with a friend, was seated outside on the cozy side patio. My duck confit with a side of potato pancake and goat cheese was excellent, as was her swordfish sandwich with home made fries. Dessert of lemon crème brule was fantastic. Definitely recommend a visit. Enjoy the spectacular view of downtown and some equally spectacular nosh!

This is FINE food!
A friend had taken me to lunch at Fat Cats a few months back and I had promised my wife a meal at this neat place with eclectic food.
The food is absolutely excellent without gargantuan servings. Snow peas were excellent and the regular menu Salmon was outstanding as was my wife's Walleye special.
This restaurant is 9 years old and doesn't get the buzz in the press but the food is as good as you can get anywhere with funky atmosphere.
This isn't inexpensive dining but you'll remember the food.

Ducky!
Hit Fat Cat for Lunch, had the Duck Breast! DUCKY!
They had sweet potato pancake that appeared more like a crab cake super. The Duck was the best I've had in years and they had some kind of slightly cook greens, not sure but it rocked! Fat Cats does the DUCK right!

Super
They are ALWAYS trying new items and that's what make a resturants!
I typically hit this palce for lunch about every other week and from duck, to meatloaf, it's always good.
In the summer a nice few of downtown and the coffee great. The fish dishes are always pleasing to the eye and tastes evern better.
Try Fat Cats, but not too often, I want it for myself.

The Cat's Meow!
Fat Cats seems to offer something for everyone. Whether you crave fresh seafood, steak, chicken or salad there is plenty of variety even for the pickiest of eaters. In addition to delicious food, this restaurant offers a chic yet somehow "cozy" environment perfect for a special date or just a night out with good friends. Best of all, their new non-smoking environment ensures you don't leave smelling like an ashtray. (a movement more Cleveland restaurants need to adopt) We took advantage of their Monday night special which gives diners an appetizer, an entre and dessert all for $25. It was amazingly good. I look forward to returning soon. Meeeeeow.
