We had a great time!
We were planning a surprise birthday party and wanted to be close to Playhouse Square as we were going to the theater after. After reading horrible reviews of the Hanna I almost passed it up. I am so glad we didn't.
The owners helped with the menu planning for 30 people. The bar was fun and quick to get our drinks. They set up a table for appetizers and made sure the food was warm and enough for everyone. They made everyone feel like family and set up the atmosphere for a great time!

probably worst service we ever had!
ITS SUCH A SHAME that this could be a really great place.... we went to this restaurant before a concert at playhouse square.. there were 5 empty tables when we sat down at 6:15PM, i ordered an iced tea , my husband a beer we had to beg for refills and our appetizer looked like the waitress spilled half of it, we never got our salads. My husband ordered swordfish ,she never asked what side never brought salad or bread.. i ordered a burger...( which was verrry good)but it was $12.50 and the waitress had to go find out if they could put cheese and mushrooms on it...?the waitstaff was the worst i have EVER seen and there was not enough glasses for the restaurant. we also had to ask 3 times for napkins... everyone in the restaurant was talking about the service and waiting for their checks. menu was limited atmosphere was nice... what a disappointment in service!!! manager should be ashamed!!!!

Get there early!
Had dinner with a party of two before a performance of The Nutcracker 11/28. The person on the phone was hesitant about booking a reservation, said they were booked. They did book us for a 530 reservation, and the timing was just about right. We couldn't understand why the host had said they were booked, we were the only patrons in the entire restaurant. It picked up very quickly closer to show time. We had the lemon sole entree and chicken parmesan entrees, both excellent. The salads were wonderful mixed greens with a great house dressing. The service was a little slow once things got hopping. The waitstaff seemed to be a little overwhelmed by that point, and I was wondering myself how any of these people were going to make the show on time. Overall, we had a very good experience.

Awful awful awful
Such a disappointment and a terrible waste of time and money. The waitress was awful and unattentive. Messed up our orders and then didnt apologize. Food at a chain restaurant tastes better. Didn't get refills on our drinks. Almost late to our show. Dont waste your time or money.

For a nice evening, go elsewhere
Went there with a 6:30 pre-dinner res on 7/8, party of 5. Arrived on time, but it took almost 20 minutes to take our orders. Our asked-for water did not arrive, so we had to go up and fetch our own.
At 7:40 (20 minutes to show time) we asked for the manager to patiently enquire where our food was. The manager explained to us that 'this is not McDonald's'
Restaurants that tout themselves as pre-theater venues need to understand their customers. There are plenty of restaurants in the area that do.
We had to leave without ever being served to make the curtain for Wicked. The (lack of) service, and most of all the unapologetic defensiveness of the management meant that our long-planned evening was interrupted by incompetence and lack of caring.
Luckily we had time to grab a quick pretzel at the theater before curtain.
Looked like a nice place from the outside, but you know, life is short. No need to stop here again.

Pricey and Bad Service
There were four of us in our party having dinner before attending a sold out show at the State Theatre. Two members in the group ordered the chicken with shrimp and pasta ($20), one ordered the steak sandwich ($22), and the other ordered the oriental salad ($12). The food was very tasty and served at the right temperature. The service of our dinner was what was truly lacking!!! We were seated upstairs where there was one other table of theatre goers. The server seemed to forget that we were upstairs, or maybe she just didn't feel like coming up to check on us. We asked for ketchup and bread that were never brought to us. It was very disappointing to say the least!
