the best on the south side of Lake Erie
Herb's was 1 of 50 burgers in the United States-not MANY can top that record. They'e been in business for 50 years. Curt & Kim their children were both in the business and did terrific jobs-the people loved them. The Herbburger has Herb's own ingredients & cooked to order, delicious soups & salads, steak fries, regular fries & sweet potato fries. People that travel always want to come back for that Herbburger-so do I.

THIS IS SERVICE?
My Father and I went into Herb's one day for lunch. After taking our order, the waitress went back behind the bar and continued the conversation with her friend. After waiting an unusually long time, I asked the waitress how much longer it would be and in a snippy tone she said "It does take time you know". This was interesting because from where we were sitting their was a direct view into the kitchen and it was easy to see that nothing had even started. Instaed of wasting anymore time we left.

Horrible Hamburger at Herbs
I met a friend at Herb's tonight for a Herb Burger. Our waitress did not write anything down. My burger came out raw when I ordered it well done. I showed the server and she took the hamburger away, yet I was still charged $8.45 for it. The server was unattentive - she did offer me a free draft beer in place of the burger! There was also a horrible smell coming from the bathrooms. This place has really gone downhill. It is definitely not worth the $! Very Sad!

EXCELLENT FOOD!
It's good to know that the Herb Burger hasn't changed since I was a kid! It's still every bit as delicious as I remember it being. I just moved back to Rocky River and Herb's Tavern has been the best part of returning. It's still family owned and family run which gives it that homey welcoming feeling. If you're in the area or in the mood for a great burger, go to Herb's Tavern !

Herb Burgers are the Best!!!
Great service, the super Herb Burger is the best! You have to have everything on it! The fries melt in your mouth! I wish you could smoke inside the bars! Liberalism at its best! "Spreading misery evenly and calling it fairness"! This is going to change soon!

Best Burger I Think I've Ever Had! MMMM!
Ok, I am embarrassed to admit this, but I grew up just one block from Herb's Tavern and I just recently had my first burger there. For years, I walked past the place on my way to and from school, always enjoying the delicious aromas that drifted out of there.
I left Cleveland in 1992, and just recently made a trip back there. This time, I was adamant that I was not leaving town again until I had finally tasted the burger that everyone has been raving about. And what a burger it is!
I have no idea what makes it so tasty, so juicy, so good that I have been craving another one ever since I came back to Texas. Why did I never enjoy these things when I was still in the neighborhood?
A good sized burger, I ordered it without fries and it filled me up just right. They offer a variety of cheeses and I chose the mozzarella, although any of their choices would have been delicious with the grilled onions on top. The big pickle spear it was served with was the perfect compliment. This is no ordinary burger. It is so tasty, I would love to find out what they're adding to it back there to bring out such flavor. There were several varieties on the menu, burgers with various condiments, I will have to try a different one next time. I enjoyed it with a Coke--the All American meal, right?
The ambiance of the place was nice. People of all ages were gathered around at small tables and the bar, enjoying lunch. The service was excellent and I knew I wanted to come back again. Unfortunately, I am living in another state and Herb's is no longer a block away, so I am still craving another Herb's burger!
