Quack Quack
The Hot Mandarin Duck is absolutely delicious. Order it with fried rice and make it even better. The Wonton soup is the second best in the city. I simply love this restaurants upscale atmospher with affordable prices. I can only rate the Hot Mandarin Duck entree. I get it every time I go there so my rating of (5) is for this only.

They Ruined the Food and My Dad Died
The hospice where my dad was spending his last days gave us a private room to use. It was his birthday. It was just me, my mother, my brother and two elderly aunts. We ordered take-out from Ho-Wah in Beachwood. We told them that we were ordering food for three elderly women and a dying cancer patient. Please make the food MILD. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Well, I supposed they didn't care. Maybe it's easier to fix it just one way. They ruined our last family gathering, my dad had to go back to his room. I think if he had been able to eat the food,he moght have been able to stay, as it was he had to go back to him room and died four days later. Thanks Ho-Wah Instead of a last happy moment with my dad, you gave us a ruined party with food that was so super-spicy even I couldn't ear it. I supposed we could have taken our order back, but really, it was too late. The moment had passed. The party was over. I'll never forgive Ho-Wah .

Honey Walnut Chicken Rocks
This is the best Chinese restaurant in the city! The best dish is Honey Walnut Chicken...something about it is addictive! The rest of the menu is just great as well. The atmosphere is fine, even if it is inside a mall; and recent construction in the front parking area was a pain. But that should not dissuade anyone from going here. The food is worth the possible inconvenience.

Gotta Give It Up to Ho-Wah
I've lived on the east side my entire life (over 35 years). I went to Ho Wah a few years ago and it is my absolute favorite Chinese food. NO other restaurant comes close...I've also been to several on east, west, south side of Cleveland. Service is excellent, clean, food is sooooo tasty and fresh. Great egg rolls, wonton. This place is a must for any chinese food lover.

Fantastic Food
Ive eaten at maybe 40-50 chinese restaurants both east and west side. This place has been my favorite for over 25 years. No one comes close to this place. And even though King Wah on Center Ridge is related. The food at Ho Wah is far superior.
