A Hairy Experience
A friend and I go out to breakfast almost every Sunday. Where else, Hometown Buffet. We live in Lakewood and use to go to the one in Rocky River until they closed up 2 years ago without notice. Going to the one in Parma was the only option until today. This will be our last visit because of the not 1 but 2 health issues that happened wile we were there. First thing was my friend brought bacon back to the table after waiting for several minutes. When I pulled a piece off the plate a real long black hair was cooked right onto it. So I went up to the buffet and told a worker that I wanted to talk to the manager. While she paged for him over the loud speaker she pulled a tissue out of her pocket and wiped her nose and cheek. Then turned around and started to put clean dishes and silverware away with the same gloves on that she had from the beginning. I told her to change her gloves and why right in front of guest and the manager. When I showed the manager the bacon and told him that I no longer can eat all he can do is say sorry. He didn't even say anything to the worker about the glove thing. I mentioned that we are regulars and the past few weeks with no food on the line and now this we will not return to the restaurant. He showed no sympathy and said, "well what do you want me to do?" at that point I tipped the girl that cleaned our table and left the restaurant.

Mexican food...no mexican rice.....
They have great food...we think but the mexican rice was filled with a tray of white sticky rice.... the employees did not seem to be too busy to talk about the other employees and managers... food is fine there but they need to work harder to refill items and keep up on cooking the different items people go there for

me and my family recently visited hometown buffet on snow road and it was terrible the customer service was horrible we spent good money to eat and it was not worth it at all. the manager and supervisor i believe her name is dorine or close to it were so rude i couldnt believe the way they treated us i cried the whole way home and not to mention the potato salad had hair in it so i dont know what they do in the kitchen or if they wear hair nets and the juice was so water down i had to give my kids pop which i never do.Basically i was very unsatisfied and the manager could care less and didnt not discipline his so called supervisor so i will NEVER be eating there again....

Worked Here
Hometown buffet might not have been the Ideal place to work (I worked there for 5 years), but I would go there to eat every chance I get. I always liked the food esp. the salads they always had fresh ingrediants. Compared to other places I found Hometown a pretty clean place.

If your thinking of going here tonight, think again.
Dirty, cold, greasy and tastless food, rude staff, oh .. did I say dirty?
Our family will not be returning to Home Town. We have gone a few times thinking we must have hit on an 'off' day. So far every day we have gone has been 'off'
