Looking Back in time at the HYLANDER December 26, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        I grew up in West Park and attended a lot of events in Lakewood. Having moved to Elyria a few years ago, I still find myself in Lakewood from time to time and the one place I want to be for good "Old Fashioned like Mom made food", is the HYLANDER across from Lakewood Hospital! Prices are great, esp. if you get there bef0re 10 am for the breakfast special. A belly buster for under $3.00. The Meatloaf is so plentiful, you need a to go box. Many more "good old fashioned dinners" are on the menu. They even have a counter where you can order and watch them make your "Hand Made Milkshake" to order. The service is great, with the coffee cup before you never going empty. Blue Collar, White Collar or even Ring Aroung the Collar......they all eat there. Cheap Eats, Great Staff.....See you there! A Hole in the Wall Whose Food is Not Small November 03, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        If you like cozy, old fashion charm, this is the place. The food is really good. I've had breakfast there and the Blueberry Pancakes are to die for. The wedding soup is also very delicious and soothing.
