OUR FAVORITE CHINESE RESTAURANT-BAR NONE!
Our family has been going to Imperial Wok for at least 12 years. We have never had a bad meal. Whether we get it to go or eat in, it has been consistently the best Chinese food in the Cleveland area. I live in South Carolina and every time I come home our family makes the trip from Wickliffe to Solon for chinese at Imperial Wok. Their Won Ton Soup is the best we have ever had anywhere. Sweet and sour chicken, pepper steak, kun bow chicken, beef with snow pea pods, chicken cashew, pork fried rice, egg foo yung we usually order this, but have other stuff which is equally as good. The new location is nice and roomy. Good service, good price, GREAT food. We're going this weekend.

THE GOLDEN SLOP
Took my granddaughter to the Wok for her 13th birthday. The service was lousy and very slow, even though they were not at all busy. It took forever to get our food, and they completely forgot my crab rangoon until I was done eating. They did comp me for this. I ordered General Tso's chicken and it was so tough I couldn't eat it. My granddaughter got sweet/sour chicken and it was smeared with an ugly pink sauce. She gagged when she tried to eat it. We paid our bill, took the food to go and went to Mickey D's to eat. When I got home I threw all the food in the garbage. I was truly disappointed in this restaurant and will never waste my money there again.

Great place for many years running now
Not a fancy place, but it is clean and the food is always good. Many of the servers, hosts and cashiers havfe also been there for years. Some people like to debate who has the best Chinese food (they also debate pizza and ribs) but I think that usually is based on the food they grew up on. Give them a try. They are also very accomodating on takeout.

Consistently good
Our family had been going to Imperial Wok for over ten years and their food have been consistently good. We always order family dinner which included soup, appetizer and main dinner.
They have the best Wonton soup in the Cleveland area. We love their General Tso Chicken,Walnut Shrimp and their ribs

Not so godd as before
I and my family have just received the worst meal ever at the Imperial Wok. I had General Tso chicken, and it was tasteless. And the chicken was very tough. My wife and my son in-in-law had the subgum combination. Their chicken was also very tough. My serving was to contain green peppers. It had only 2 very small pieces of pepper. Also all of our portions were smaller than usual.
This restaurant had been a favorite of ours and we traveled a good distance to get to it in Solon.
They were out of the ice cream desert which came with the subgum meals. This easily obtained in any grocery store, and should have been when they noticed that their supplies were low.
Their kitchen has fallen considerably since our previous visits.

Good Fortune
The best orange beef you've ever had!!! There serice is a little too quick and we had to slow the wait staff down a little. Ambienece is like most Chinese restaurants tacky and too well lit but the food...
The food here is equal to Hunan by the Falls in Chagrin and Peatrl of the Orient in Shaker.
