Saturday night - busy night at the Jigsaw. And yet, there's only one bartender at the restaurant bar, and two in the show bar. The restaurant bartender was a complete bitch. I kept trying to be nice, tipped her well, and yet she never smiled, she was rude, and she rolled her eyes at the demands of her customers more times than I can count.
If you are over the age of 21, you have to buy bottled water. Water is a basic human right. I've never encountered any other bar where you HAVE to purchase water in order to get water. A friend was getting sick towards the end of the night due to alcohol, and yet we were still forced to purchase water for him.
It was $5 to get into the show. At LEAST one of the bands didn't get a cut from that door fee.
If you want beers-to-go, you will get charged full price. Not unheard of, but uncommon. $30 for a 12 pack of Bud Light? At that point, I took my business elsewhere.
Food was crap. It took forever to order (once again, the fault of the rude bartender), and forever to get the food. I ordered potato skins, and they were luke-warm by the time I got them.
Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

I just recently ate there and have gone back again and again and found the food very good, especially for a bar. I was referred by several people. I heard that the breakfast is good too... i hope some Sunday I will be up early enough to try it...

The food, decor and menu has always been a Parma landmark...of sorts. Over the last few years the menu has altered very little. The service is a bit on the slow side. They are the home of the largest mug club anywhere in Northern Ohio!

Great food and awesome pierogies are the hallmark of this Parma landmark. The pierogies are homemade by the ladies of St. Josephat Church down the street. The restaurant is relatively smokeless during lunch, but at dinner, the smokers come in, which is the only major downside I can find in this unique bar/restaurant. Be sure to check out the stuff on the walls, ceilings and above the door as you go to leave.
