We should have ordered the pizza....
Although the location in a quaint little village may sound appealing for dinner, remember, dinner is all about the food, so choose wisely. I had the Veal Parm (17.50) and my dining companion had the Cavatappi with meatballs 12.75. The veal parm was average and the side of penne pasta was in a red water sauce with absolutely no taste. My companion said she has had better pasta out of a box and the meatballs were awful....dry, bland and overcooked. The service was fair to poor. A major disappointment for the price. If you truly want italian cuisine @ the right price, try Corleones or D'Agneses. Neither will disappoint.

Decline in quality
I used to go to Joey's growing up in the 1980s. Since returning to the Cleveland area in 2007, I wanted to go back to the place I loved going to with my family. While the atmosphere and coziness are still superb, the food quality and pricing was disappointing. I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo. Though no plate of Fettuccini Alfredo should cost $16, I decided to get it because of my memories of great food at Joey's. Not only was my plate of Fettuccini Alfredo not worth $16, it wasnt worth $4. There was little to no taste in the sauce. The server tried her best to come up with a Rosemary sauce for me, but with the base still being that Alfredo, it was still substandard.
My dining companion got the Eggplant Parmesian. She liked hers for the most part, but at the $16 price for her meal, it did not meet her expectaions either.
The pre-meal bread was good, while the salad was just lettuce, nothing more. If they improve their food quality and lower their pricing, I'd be willing to give it another chance. Until then, I'd rather go to Olive Garden. (Not to knock Olive Garden's food, but it is a chain restaurant.)

Joey's Restaurant, Chagrin Falls
Joey's in Chagrin Falls is totally cool. I wish we had little places like it in Lake County. They brought bread out right away that was killer. I ordered a pizza with three toppings and a side salad. It was great. My wife and daughter split a meal of chicken parmesan with spaghetti. They both loved it. The atmosphere is really neat. The place is small and cozy. No scumbags in sight. The waiter was right on it as soon as we sat down. We just had a great time.
